There are years of negative perceptions about marketing and selling… everything from unpleasant to straight up evil. That’s why when I first started in business, I created Marketing With A Heart (and wrote a book of the same name.)

 

Because — if you think about it — marketing & selling are service… when you do them with the right intention, what you’re offering will help people live happier, more productive, peaceful lives.

Here’s the difference between “old school” marketing and Marketing With A Heart.

  • Marketing With A Heart is what you do FOR people: educating, adding value, creating trust, developing relationships, and changing lives. It’s a win-win-win. Marketing With A Heart is a revolutionary philosophy and successful business strategy because it provides a personal approach to attracting money while making a difference.

When you’re promoting, presenting, partnering, or producing, sooner or later you’ll need to align people with your vision and then inspire them to take action. This is why the right kind of marketing is critical.

It’s how you balance your long-term vision with day-to-day action. It’s knowing what guides you from within…which helps you make the right decisions, even the hard ones. Marketing is how you communicate with and influence people in a way that inspires them to take action… so they can be more successful, more fulfilled, and have more fun. By communicating with authenticity and integrity, you can inspire people to make choices that will benefit them and benefit you.

Essentially it’s cultivating trust, building relationships, and inviting your audience to take action because you understand what they care about, are speaking to them in their language, and are delivering value.
